I’ll be the first one to admit this isn’t my usual approach to things but an e-mail came across my desk today and it brought to mind the attached cartoon graphic from PatriotUpdate.com.

On a personal note I have to point out that this isn’t the first time the heavy metal group Metallica and other memories have collided in my mind. In the 70’s there was a musical group called “Spirit in Flesh” (Metromedia Records) headed up by a guy named Michael I grew up with. It was my first driving assignment for a band and not only did it put me on stage at Carneige Hall in NYC, more importantly it took me to Washington DC for a May 15th Rally only the old folks remember.

Michael went on to change his name a bit later to “Rapunsel” as he and members of his commune in Gill, Massachusetts worked at promoting the band. I can’t really recall just when the next thing happened (could be a year or so), but along came a much more successful band called “Metallica” that achieved all that Michael wanted. The oddity of all this is that Michael’s actual last name was (you guessed it!) Metallica.

Take a moment and read through Metallica’s lyrics to their song “Master of Puppets”. In this day and age there can only be one person who quickly comes to mind... President Barack Obama.

WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE????

No one ever said it would be easy. There is a battle at hand between Americans nationwide and elected politicians (and those who influence -- or 'own' -- them).

April 15th was an opening salvo, the first skirmish and with a near news media "blackout", many citizens could easily have been discouraged. But that didn't happen.

Do we thank President Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid? Or do the kudos actually go much farther to encompass nearly the entire unresponsive and arrogant Congress? Barney Frank, Charles Rangle and others come to mind. If so many hadn't dismissed the outrage of Americans the effort might well have died in a wash of apathy. Thank goodness for small favors. The politicians kept up with their antics and more and more people said "I''m mad as Hell and I'm not going to take it anymore."

Sure, events planned for July 4th were less than dramatic, but the recent march on Washington DC (still not covered by major network media) was very successful. Whether you agree with estimates in the range of a million and a half people or not, the crowds were undeniably huge.

But one effective skirmish doesn't win a war. Understand Americans are at war with a President who is Hell-bent to destroy the foundation that this country was built upon. We are at war with the politicians who do not represent us any more. And the country is at war with shortsighted major media outlets who hope against hope that if they don't anger the politicians, some how they will be allowed to survive. Dumb approach.

Across the country the more dedicated, more aggressive Tea Party and Meet Up groups are holding planning sessions as we speak. Many are looking to the next big national holiday (Veterans Day in November) as their next protest target. Is that enough? No, not really because momentum must be maintained and actually expanded.

That brings me to the old adage: "What have you done for me (your country) lately?"

Right now is the time to be "speaking your mind all the time". Talk to friends, neighbors, people at work, at church, even at the grocery store in town. Engage them with your concerns about Washington and your state and local legislatures. This is not the time to be timid or quiet.

While you may find that trying to talk to your Liberal friends will be as effective as trying to negotiate with a terrorist, I suspect you'll be very surprised to find just how many acquaintances you have who are now more Conservative or Independent in their thinking. This is the base to work with. These are the people you want to appeal to and ignite their passions.

Look around. Ask around. Find more to get involved in and go out and save your country.

WAS THIS A FREUDIAN SLIP?

With President Obama once again flooding the air waves with his ego-elitist love fest (of himself), more and more Americans are actually changing the channel or simply turning off the TV when he comes on. Since last Sunday's onslaught on Network TV, his stop in New York and today in Pennsylvania, again the only President who ever got more exposure was Bill Clinton and his (not so) private part.

I know it's a stretch but here is one time when I'll say "Too bad".

It's not that I wanted you to listen to Barack Obama lie some more or hope to see him break his own arm as he pats himself on the back. What many missed by turning off the coverage of the meetings at the United Nations was one very interesting moment.

For those who have tried to warn Americans (for years) about what is often called "The Illuminatti"**, a particular use of words by Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel would have made them jump out of their seats.

While the PM -- in very structured and deliberately chosen verbiage -- attacked Iran and the possibilities that it was well on track to become a nuclear rogue nation, he spoke of Iran (and perhaps others) who wanted to "OVERTHROW THE WORLD ORDER" as compared to "OVER THROWING ORDER IN THE WORLD".

Was that a "Freudian Slip" in even referencing such a group might actually exist or is the Prime Minister so comfortable with the reality that a few powerful people do indeed control much of what goes on in the world. I don't know, but it certainly caught my attention.

RACISM IS ONLY COMING FROM THE LEFT!

RE: The blithering idiots who keep pressing the "Racist" button at the drop of a hat when they themselves are the pot calling the kettle black.

I am one person who is sick and tired of Progressive Liberals and Democrats doing everything they can to ignore facts and the reality that the Obama Administration is destroying the America most of us know and love. Arguing (or even trying to simply discuss anything) with a Liberal is no different than talking with a foreign terrorist. Rest assured, they will never let a fact get in the way of their opinion.

But more than anything I'm fed up with the Liberals always calling any dissenter a "racist". Although most Americans don't have frequent contact with people from every walk of life, some of us do. Let's play "fly on the wall" for a moment.

When I am on the street in a typical "club" setting these days there are two distinct choices in vocabulary. Young white men and women still refer to their peers as "dorks", "dummies" or "clueless wonders of the universe". The young men are all too ready to demean their friends, embarrass them or simply point out that they "have NO game". Like any group (adults or youngsters), five per cent will be (as Van Jones puts it) "Assholes".

Those that fall into that category are destined to go on to simply be "punks", get into confrontations and physical fights, and most frequently will indeed eventually end up as the playmate of someone within the prison system in any given state. If only they knew their owns destiny... ahead of time. A reasonable side note. Today the majority of the fights (at least the bare knuckle ones) are actually between the girls. Be sure and keep it a secret, but the fastest-growing gender demographic in criminal behavior is FEMALE.

While the White boys (and the Orientals too) still apparently tend to prefer crow bars, baseball bats and other "pick up" items, the "go get a gun" thing is still a reality. Thankfully (?) guns are still more the choice of the premeditated, socially estranged White boy.

In stark contrast to this would be the clientele outside a club more commonly frequented by young Black men and women. Here the vocabulary is reduced to a smaller handful of words.

When dealing within social groups it is predominantly "Nigger" that occupies every sentence. You can put it into perspective this way. I use to kid about working a "heavy metal" concert and if the musicians couldn't use the "F" word or grunt, there would be no lyrics at all.

Here's where that 'fly on the wall' gets a real ear full. Let's put both Jessie Jackson and Reverend Al Sharpton on tour buses as they run around America, charging head long into the latest inter racial scandal. (The problem at the high school in the Carolinas last year comes to mind.)

With NO hesitation I'll tell you if a media person was a stow-a-way on either bus I suspect the overwhelming majority of what they would hear would be two words: "Nigger" and "Whitie". The air would be blue with anger, outrage and disdain. But here's the real surprise. Much of the conversation would not be pointed at the public event they were descending upon, it would be about the "opposing" camp. Jackson's people would be outraged with any comment (or even the presence) from the Sharpton group and the Reverend would likely be in a tirade about Jackson.

Egos and power would be the main courses of the day. Just be sure and notice that every word is draped in a level of racism that would make George Wallace blush.

For those who need one last comparison, turn to the page on Feminist Control in the Modern Day American Play book. Those who want to win that game sit around all day long and call everyone "sexist".

Both groups are shameless in their manipulation of others while holding themselves above reproach. The only worse crime is that the rest of America let's them get away with it. Once again. It really is our fault!

SOME THOUGHTS ON LAST WEEK'S TRIP TO DC

Last Thursday morning I walked around both sides of the White House in DC and was very disappointed to see (perhaps) 95% of the tourists were from outside America. The barricades, trees and barriers that obstruct the view are a real tragedy. At this point a person must walk nearly to the Washington Monument just to get a nice picture (with a telephoto lens) of the White House.

I was prepared to carry a sign around the area but it soon became apparent that no Americans would see it.

In total contrast to that was the wonderful experience of being on Pennsylvania Ave. Saturday, meeting first at Freedom Plaza and then walking down the street with thousands of other Americans who are upset with the policies and politics in Washington. To a person, all were friendly, respectful and responsible. I saw many people walk a distance to find an overflowing trash bin to properly dispose of rubbish. I even saw some people crushing cigarettes and putting the butt in their pocket instead of just throwing it on the ground.

It's hard to get over the disappointment in the news media's choice to ignore the event. With the exception of one helicopter that flew over (to cover a local marathon--not the march), there was no ariel coverage at all.

My smiling muscles did get a big workout from many of the signs, the presence of the "ship" once again from First Coast and the guy who was dressed in a coat he made from Astro Turf (Nancy would have liked that!)

Without the media there Americans missed out on a very important point. This massive turnout was not because a Union Boss demanded it of his members. It was not because ACORN, the SEIU or some other group paid people to be there. The million plus turnout was because people care about what is happening to the country.

With the President scheduled to take up the air waves in a mass assault this weekend, I think it's time for the nation to turn off their TV's and go outside and spend time with their families. Then we could all join Charlie Gibson from ABC and just be "uninformed"...

A VICTORY FOR AMERICA IS A DEFEAT FOR OBAMA AND ACORN!!!

FRIDAY NIGHT there was terrific news that snuck out of Washington. The U.S. Census Department has cut all ties with ACORN and it will not give the organization millions of dollars to help perform the 2010 count of Americans!

There were great concerns at every level (except the President's Office) that ACORN would misrepresent the number of people in various parts of the country. What was even greater concern was the possibility that ACORN would use "averaging" to dream up the make up of many cities and help redraw voting districts in favor of the Democratic Party.

While these same efforts may still move forward, at least at this point a known, corrupt organization won't get out tax dollars to help rid elections.

Let's see where the Obama Administration goes from here. Maybe they'll just go direct and hire the SEIU, another very shady group.

JOE WILSON IS A PATRIOT, ARE YOU?

Last week one man stood up and called President Obama the liar that he is. The "Chosen One" wasn't phased, basking in the confidence that the corrupt people he has surrounded himself with would crush Wilson, if not right now, then down the road.

Obama was also certain that the adoring media would go on treating him like the God he assumes himself to be and of course, there's always Nancy... She's had her hit squads working overtime for the last eight months, silencing anyone who dares speak against her, Senator Reid or Obama. Lies are the only thing any of them know how to say. Day in and day out they spin falsehoods that aren't even "half-truths". They don't bother because people don't challenge them.

Well now it's time. Most of you have sat back for the last forty years and allowed your country to be stolen by politicians on both sides of the aisle. But this time around your entire IMMEDIATE future is at stake. President Obama believes it is acceptable to destroy the American economy and impoverish everyone. Once you have nothing -- no job, no home and no food on your table, the only thing he's planning on leaving you with is both a personal and countrywide debt.

As I speak we are living in a time when our national debt is about to exceed or GROSS NATIONAL PRODUCT. That means no matter how much the American Economy comes back from the ashes of the past few years, we will NEVER be able to repay the debt that has been created by Obama. China will own America and life as you know it will be over.

HEALTH CARE EFFORTS ARE FILLED WITH PAYBACK TO UNION BOSSES

DC Examiner: Health Care Overhaul is More Payback to Union Bosses

In the Washington Examiner, columnist Kevin Mooney discusses a shocking new analysis of the "Obamacare" health care overhaul legislation distributed by National Right to Work Committee experts.

The proposals are a Trojan Horse for forced unionization of the health care field. Numerous troubling provisions in the proposed bills would divert billions of dollars into union coffers and facilitate the imposition of unionization on unsuspecting doctors, surgeons, nurses, and home care providers all across the country.

Union officials are likely to fill key positions on committees making major decisions under Sections 123 and 2251 of H.R. 3200.

"Big labor is guaranteed a place on the various committees, and that's something we see as a dangerous sign," said Greg Mourad, the principal author of the NRTWC (National Right To Work) study. "The idea is to get the whole country on a model where you have teams of union stewards telling doctors what to do."

"In every section we cite, unions are guaranteed a place on the various boards, but the compositions of the boards are very flexible, and with Obama and his appointees naming the members of the various committees and commissions, all could easily be stacked by Big Labor sympathizers," he added.

The end result could very well be the forced unionization of every health care professional in the United States.
