Sarah Palin promotes Allen West’s challenge of Democratic U.S. Rep. Ron Klein
Former GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is supporting Republican congressional candidate Allen West in Southern Florida. While not directly mentioning Lt. Colonel West’s opponent -- U.S. Rep. Ron Klein, D-Boca Raton -- by name, Palin characterizes the two-term incumbent “a leftwing ideologue as someone who’s marched to the beat of Nancy Pelosi on every issue from Cap-and-Tax to the stimulus, TARP, and, of course, Obamacare.
Here is a video clip of West when he appeared with Sean Hannity late last year. I’ve also provided a link for a very stimulating speech West gave in 2009.

FLORIDA LAW SAYS "TEACH THE U.S. CONSTITUTION"
Here is a rather well-kept secret from the state of Florida. According to Statute 1003.42 under "Required Education", public schools in the state must teach students "The history, meaning, significance, and effect of the provisions of the Constitution of the United States and amendments thereto, with emphasis on each of the 10 Amendments that make up the Bill of Rights and how the Constitution provides the structure of our government."
Actually when a man in Volusia County recently contacted as many local teachers as was possible, he couldn't get a single one to confirm that they had spent time teaching the Constitution (or the Federalist Papers) to their students. He took the same question to the Volusia County School Committee and let's just say it wasn't a question "Political Science" Major, Chairwoman Candace Lankford greeted with open arms and gratitude.
If you live in Florida, it's time you started asking if this law is being obeyed in your local schools. Don't take someone's word for it, ask to see what text is being used, in what grade or grades and MOST IMPORTANTLY, ask to see the Course Curriculum guidelines and Behaviorial Objectives for any applicable course. Under Florida's Sunshine Laws and basic Freedom of Information Laws in other states, you are entitled to see exactly what is being presented in your school systems. Remember, these people -- from the School Board on down -- work for you.
If you do not live in Florida, feel free to look at the statutes in your own state. If there isn't something similar to the Florida Statute, use it as a guide and get a law passed. The recent textbook battle in Texas shows just how important your input can be.
One other thing. Volusia County School Board Chairman Candace Lankford gets paid more than the Governor of Florida. Justification of pay scales often come from budgets people must manage. I think it's safe to say, a governor has a larger one than a local School Board Chairwoman. How much is your local Chairperson getting paid?

TEA PARTY PROTESTERS ASSAULTED BY ILLEGAL ALIEN SUPPORTERS
Supporters of President Obama's Amnesty plans attacked Tea Party Against Amnesty & Illegal Immigration demonstrators in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on Sat. November 14, 2009.
After President Obama's key ally Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) announced he would file Amnesty legislation this year to turn millions of illegal aliens in America into voters, immigration enforcement groups such as ALIPAC and NumbersUSA, and Rightmarch sprang into action.
Strategies and efforts by the ALIPAC group played a key role in defeating Amnesty legislation in 2006 and 2007, and have dominated the pro-illegal immigration factions in almost every state legislation battle in 2008 and 2009. It will take something truly historic for the American public to triumph over Amnesty this time.

As far as the altercation, is this just another thing you won't see in the "news" from the 'Lame-stream' Media? Must be the attackers took their cues from ACORN...

FLORIDA'S CRIST SELF IMPLODES SENATE CAMPAIGN

It's been a mistake-prone couple of weeks for Florida Governor Charlie Crist as "political speak" (lies) are not floating in the South nearly as well as a "Baby Ruth" cruises the surface in Washington. Must be Bill Murray is tossing some C4 in the pool.
Recently President Obama flew into Florida to do a photo op with troops in Jacksonville, Crist was a no-show, claiming he didn't even know the increasingly unpopular President was stopping by the state. Guess he didn't watch the "Lame-Stream Media" (or Fox), all of whom had stories on the planned visit.
It seems obvious to most that Crist was out for a daily jog, running away from anything to do with Obama.
He is in real danger of wearing out his track shoes because for the last two weeks he's also been trying to outrun criticism for praising Obama's economic stimulus package earlier in the year. Video of him giving Barack a big hug hasn't helped Crist, but it continues to build a following for Marco Rubio, Crist's nemesis in the coming run for Senate. (Mel Martinez quit when he reportedly lined up a $750,000 a year job as a Lobbyist in DC.)
Now Crist's office has released the news that longtime Communications Director Erin Isaac has hit the road. It's the old "pursue other opportunities" thing but everyone in Tallahassee knows the Titanic is now about to set sail from Charlie's house and she gave up the deck chair.
Another "little" problem Crist is dealing with is one of his biggest financial supporters -- Scott Rothstein, a prominent Florida attorney -- has drawn the attention of the Feds for possibly engaging in a "Ponzi scheme". If indeed that was the source of nearly $500,000 he contributed to Crist and the Republican Party in Florida (yes, the same people who endorsed Crist over Rubio), maybe that is the real iceberg that will sink Crist's Senate race.

In the spirit of fairness here, I don't want the mentions of Rubio to get a completely free ride. For those who see him on his current campaign schedule, it's time to crucify Marco on his stand on illegal immigration. I'm not exactly saying he's ready to hire the buses to bring people from Mexico but boat rides from Cuba might be a whole different thing...
